Gourmet chocolate Maraná 70% Piura Perù single origin

This 70% gourmet chocolate Maraná 70% is made from single-origin organic cocoa of the Blanco type, grown in northwestern Perù, from the Alto Piura Valley.

The Blanco cocoa variety is very light in color and has pronounced citrus aromas.

On the packaging there is a watercolor by Pancho Fierro, a well-known Peruvian painter who captured scenes from the life of cocoa farmers in the 19th century.

As expected, this chocolate has very pronounced aromas of citrus, but also cocoa and cashew nuts.

The name Maraná (the brand) comes from Maran, a stone tool used in ancient times in Peru to grind cocoa beans.

Gold winner of the Americas International Chocolate Awards in 2018.

Very good! 🤩
